Synopsis

Drowsy Chaperone opens with a man sitting alone and aside from our main stage area. He is the musical's central character, Man in Chair. He is not a singer or dancer, but has a record play-er and his records. With these, his stage can be a blank canvas, waiting to be filled with light and music and action, a space that is exciting because it offers fresh possibilities.
