The Short Pump Players Angels

The Short Pump Players Angels (SPPA), founded in 1983, is a non-profit organization of parents, friends and drama enthusiasts whose mission is to support the outstanding Theatre Department at Mills E. Godwin High School.

We volunteer our time to provide our students with the best opportunities to exercise their creative abilities. In our active support of the Godwin Theatre Department we help with sets, scenery, costumes and publicity for Godwin productions and raise funds to enhance classroom instruction and play production.

All of our support comes from fund-raisers, ticket sales, program ads, silent auction, concession sales and parent contributions.

Financial support, as well as volunteer time, is always encouraged to help us continue the Godwin Theatre tradition of excellence.
