In August 2010, Mr. Damron will take his group of thirty talented theatre students to the International Fringe Festival in Edinburgh, Scotland – his last overseas trip. The Edinburgh Festival Fringe in Scotland is the biggest performing arts festival in the world, with something for everyone: theatre, comedy, music, dance, exhibitions and much more. Throughout this 3 week time, approximately one-half a million people will attend this incredible festival. Godwin’s Theatre department has been honored with an invitation to participate and perform during the 2010 Fringe Festival this coming summer. Our students will be performing the musical Sweeney Todd to audiences from around the world!
Fund raising is vital for students to be able to go on this once-in-a-lifetime trip. Please check out the following links for more information about how you can positively impact the lives of thirty students embarking on this wonderful opportunity.
